Year 12 formal season runs September to December. Jacket and trousers from $178, fitted in store at Westfield Parramatta, altered in time for the night.
The formal suit checklist
- Suit. Black or navy is the safe call; blue, charcoal, camel and pink are the popular alternatives this season. Jackets and trousers are sold separately, so slim builds are not forced into a jacket that is too big.
- Shirt. White or pale blue, slim fit. Mandarin-collar shirts suit a no-tie look.
- Tie or bow tie. Match the date's colour or the school's. Tie sets from $15.
- Shoes and belt. Black leather with a black or navy suit; brown with camel or blue.
- Alterations. Sleeve and trouser length almost always need adjusting on a first suit. Alterations are priced per garment — allow 2–4 weeks in formal season, or ask about express turnaround for close dates.

Jackets and trousers are sold separately, so you choose your jacket size and trouser waist independently. Shirts, ties, waistcoats and shoes are in store and online.
Timing for formal season
- 6+ weeks out: fit and buy; alterations are relaxed and every size is on the rack.
- 2–5 weeks out: book a fitting now so the tailor slot is reserved before the season rush.
- Under 2 weeks: call first on (02) 8872 3428. We will confirm sizes in stock and whether express alterations are possible for your date.

Can we return it if the plan changes?
Yes. Unworn suits with tags can be returned or exchanged in store within 30 days of delivery.

Yes — we carry jacket sizes from 34 and trouser waists from 28, plus a boys' range in store.
